Stickman Hook is a physics-based swinging game built entirely around one mechanic: a grappling hook. You fire the hook, it locks onto an anchor point, and you swing. Everything else — direction, speed, arc — follows from when you decide to let go. There are no jumps, no power-ups, no margin for error if you misread the geometry.
What makes it click is how quickly the physics become second nature. After a handful of levels you stop thinking about the mechanics and start reading the course instead — spotting anchor chains in advance, identifying which gaps need a short tight swing and which need a long lazy arc. The stickman does exactly what physics says it should. The only variable is your timing.
Click or tap the game to focus it, then hold to fire the hook. Your stickman will lock onto the nearest anchor above and begin swinging. The rope length is determined by the distance to that anchor, which affects how tight or wide your arc will be. Release when the arc is pointing toward your next target and you'll carry that momentum forward.
If you overshoot, miss, or get stuck, tap R to restart the level instantly. The levels are short enough that restarting is never punishing — the challenge is in reading the geometry and timing your chain correctly.
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Click / Tap & Hold | Fire hook — locks onto the nearest anchor point above |
| Release Click / Tap | Detach and launch in your current swing direction |
| Arrow Keys | Subtle mid-air body tilt for fine directional correction |
| R | Instant restart if you're stuck or missed a line |
Stickman Hook is a free browser physics game where you swing a stickman through levels using only a grappling hook. You fire the hook to attach to anchor points, build momentum through pendulum arcs, and time your release to chain swings from one anchor to the next.
Hold click or tap to fire the hook and attach to an anchor. Release to detach and launch in your current swing direction. Arrow keys provide minor mid-air correction, and R restarts the level instantly.

At the peak of your arc. That's the moment when your velocity is pointing most directly forward, giving you the most horizontal distance and the best angle for the next attachment.
Yes. The hold-and-release mechanic maps directly to a tap on touchscreens, making Stickman Hook fully playable on mobile browsers.
One hook. One release. A hundred levels to clear. How far can your timing take you?
